A Science Test is Coming

Today, we have handed out a Wetland Ecosystems Study Guide to the students.  A few things to know:
  • it is typically handed out one week in advance
  • it is a list of topics to be reviewed
  • all topics have been or will be covered in class
  • students will have notes or handouts on the topics

WETLAND ECOSYSTEMS STUDY GUIDE

We will be having a unit test on Wednesday, October 5, 2016.  These are the topics you need to know:

1.     The 5 types of wetlands and a characteristic for each

2.     Living and non-living things found in a wetland

3.     Interactions between living things and/or living and non-living things

4.     The 3 zones of a wetland (as well as plants and animals found in each zone)

5.     Life cycles of plants and animals

6.     Producers, consumers, decomposers

7.     Adaptations of plants and animals

8.     Food chains

9.     The role of organisms in a wetland and why they are important

10.  Things that humans do that threaten and protect wetlands
